Hiroyuki Kozu, is an artist who expresses the other aspect of Dakei, Deaf Butoh Dancer.
From his days as an art student, he has consistently pursed the concept of the ‘Boundary’
By employing different mediums, such as painting and drawing, sculptural objects and installations, he is constantly exploring the concept of ‘Ma’. Inspired by the film, ‘Listen’last year, he produced the video installation at his first solo show. Here images are projected on the wall, window and curtains thus crossing the boundaries between inside and outside.
